Pacific Energy secures new power station contract

Power generation specialist Pacific Energy (ASX:PEA) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned KPS subsidiary has secured a new contract to supply electricity to the Jaguar copper/zinc mine in Kalgoorlie in WA.

The mine is owned and operated by Round Oak Minerals.

Under the new contract, KPS will acquire the existing 12.9 megawatt power station from Round Oak for a price of $2.5 million.

The contract will run for four years.

Shares in Pacific Energy (ASX:PAE) trading 0.8 per cent higher at 68 cents.
