On 14 May 2019 Infratil
(ASX:IFT) announced Brookfield Asset Management's intention to acquire Vodafone New Zealand from Vodafone Group Plc. Today the Commerce Commission granted clearance for the acquisition.
The enterprise value is NZ$3.4 billion.
Completion of the Acquisition continues to be conditional on Overseas Investment Office granting consent.
Infratil remains confident they will and that completion is likely to occur within the next two months
Shares in Infratil
(ASX:IFT) closed 0.22 per cent lower at $4.44 yesterday.
