Mobile and energy services company, amaysim Australia (ASX:AYS), has agreed to a revitalised wholesale network services agreement with Optus.

Amaysim's Managing Director and CEO, Peter O’Connell, says “amaysim and Optus have had a highly successful and mutually beneficial partnership since 2010. We both recognised the need to revitalise the NSA to better align with the growth ambitions of each company.”

The revised NSA will run until 30 June 2022, with an option for amaysim to extend an additional 5 years.

Under the revised agreement, amaysim will change the way it acquires data inclusions and network services from Optus to enable rapid product deployment, the development of innovative new features and services and a greater level of flexibility and competitiveness.

Shares in amaysim Australia (ASX:AYS) closed 1.47 per cent higher at 69 cents yesterday.
