Sirius stock gains on drilling results

Company News

Shares in Sirius Resources NL (ASX:SIR) continued their record run yesterday following more encouraging results from its Fraser Range project in Western Australia.

The West Australian focussed mineral explorer has reported thick zones of massive sulphides in the first two holes drilled to test conductor 6.

Sirius Resources says this shows conductor 6 is indeed massive sulphide and likely to represent the southern extension of the Bollinger zone.

The news comes just one week after Sirius’ share price surged 38 per cent after it reported the first drill hole into Bollinger had returned 125 metres of mineralisation.

Shares in Sirius Resources gained 5 per cent to close at $4.40 following yesterday’s announcement.

Sirius Resources reported a net loss of $1.5 million in the first half of the 2013 financial year.
