Decmil scores $25M Shell LNG contract

Decmil Group Limited (ASX:DCG) has scored a $25 million contract with Shell Australia’s Prelude Project.  
 
The design, civil engineering and construction company says the contract will enable it to expand its presence in the oil and gas sector. 
 
Under the deal Decmil Group will construct a major support facility in the Northern Territory to support Shell’s Prelude Floating LNG Facility. 
 
Decmil Group says the major contract with Shell as a new client is significant as it broadens its geographic footprint beyond Western Australia and Queensland. 
 
Construction will start mid 2013 and is expected to be completed within 12 months.  
 
Decmil Group reported a net profit of $44.12 million in the first half of the 2013 financial year.
