Azure: On the road to mining in Mexico

Company Presentations

Azure Minerals Limited (ASX:AZS) Managing Director, Tony Rovira presents ‘On the Road to Mining in Mexico’ at the 2013 RIU Explorers Conference in Perth, Western Australia

Azure Minerals Limited (ASX:AZS) is an Australian company based in Perth, but operating solely in Mexico with an objective to becoming a sole producer of copper. Currently we have 559 million shares on issue, share price is approximately 7.3 cents and our market cap is $40 million with $1.5 million in cash.

Mexico is a mineral rich country with a historical mining culture. The Government and community are highly supportive of the industry and infrastructure is strong, 350 mining companies are operating there. Amenities are first world standard, Mexico is a member of the G20 and its economy is on par with Australia’s.

At our leading high grade Promontorio copper/gold/silver project in Chihuahua, we have completed a successful pre-feasibility study and more recently, a resource expansion drilling program which is producing very good results. We are also in joint venture with the Japanese Government (JOGMEC) on two projects presently involved in active advanced exploration, in northwest Sonora. We have a number of other early stage projects with basic exploration underway.
