Nexus Energy Limited
(ASX:NXS) has discovered the source of a fault that halted gas production at its Longtom gas project in Victoria.
The oil and gas producer says the electrical fault behind the interruption has been identified as being within the offshore facilities of Santos Limited
(ASX:STO).
The affected Vessel has now been returned to port for demobilisation.
Nexus says another offshore program would be required ahead of gas production resuming.
Nexus energy reported a $342.3 million loss in the 2012 financial year.
