Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited
(ASX:SAR) produced a record 13,383 ounces of gold at its Carosue Dam operation in Western Australia in January.
The miner has maintained its production guidance of between 125 and 135 thousand ounces for the current financial year.
Saracen says Carosue Dam production continues to improve, with expansion plans set to take further shape in fiscal 2014.
The company is fully funded for its expansion program and intends to lift production to between 180 and 190 thousand ounces annually by the 2015 financial year.
Saracen generated a net profit of $18.7 million in the 2012 financial year.
