CFU strikes distribution deal with iPower

Developer of small generators Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (ASX:CFU, AIM:CFU) has struck a distribution deal with energy services company iPower. 

Under the agreement Ceramic Fuel Cells will provide its BlueGen units for social housing in the UK. Ceramic Fuel Cells has granted iPower exclusivity within the UK housing sector on the basis of minimum deliveries of 200 BlueGen units during this year and an extra 200 BluGen units next year. 

Ceramic Fuel Cells CEO Bob Kennett says the company looks forward to developing key opportunities with iPower in the future. 

BlueGen units use fuel cell technology to convert natural gas into electricity and heat for homes and other buildings.

Ceramic Fuel Cells posted a net loss of $30.2 million in the 2012 financial year.
