Mirabela Nickel Limited (ASX:MBN) has reported annual production results in line with its guidance and lifted its 2013 production target.
The nickel miner produced 19,253 dry metric tonnes of nickel in concentrate over 2012.
In 2013 Mirabela expects to produce between 22,000 to 24,000 tonnes of nickel in concentrate.
Mirabela says second half production is expected to be stronger due to scheduled maintenance work on the primary crusher during in first half and improved access to higher quality South Pit ore in the second half.
Mirabela Nickel posted a net loss of $59.5 million in the first half of the 2012 financial year.
