Nexus Energy Limited
(ASX:NXS) says production at its Longtom gas processing facility has been suspended as a result of an electrical fault.
The outage will continue until the fault has been identified. Separately, the oil and gas producer is awaiting approval from the federal government on whether a retention lease has been granted for it Crux gas and liquid fields in Western Australia’s offshore Browse Basin.
Nexus Energy booked a net loss of $342 million in the 2012 financial year.
