Crown Limited
(ASX:CWN) non-executive director John Alexander sold off just under 250 thousand shares in the casino company for $2.56 million in the week leading up to Christmas.
The move has sparked speculation Mr Alexander might make a return to Fairfax Media Limited
(ASX:FXJ) where he was formerly a chairman of the board.
According to Fairfax reports, Mr Alexander has remained coy on a potential return to the media giant while refusing to rule out what may or may not happen in the future.
Crown chairman James Packer increased his stake in the company from 48 to 50 per cent on the same day as Mr Alexander sold off his holding.
Crown achieved a net profit of $513.3 million in the 2012 financial year.
