Infratil appoints Dr Brett Robinson as CEO of RetireAustralia

Infratil (ASX:IFT) has today announced the appointment of Dr Brett Robinson as the CEO of RetireAustralia.

Infratil holds a 50 per cent ownership stake in RetireAustralia while New Zealand Superannuation Fund holds the remaining stake.

The infrastructure investment company says Mr Robinson has more than 15 years of diverse executive leadership experience in healthcare, sport and financial services related healthcare businesses.

His most recent role was as the CEO of BOQ Specialist.

The new appointment comes on the back of Infratil and Canada's Brookfield Asset Management's $3.2 billion agreement to buy Vodafone New Zealand. The proposed sale is yet to receive all regulatory approvals.

Shares in Infratil (ASX:IFT) closed 0.49 per cent lower at $4.09 yesterday.
