Downer EDI announces $300m medium term note issue

Downer EDI (ASX:DOW) has today announced that Downer Group Finance has successfully priced an issue of Medium Term Notes totaling $300 million under its $1 billion Debt Issuance Programme.

The issue follows a successful roadshow in Australia and Asia which attracted strong support from a variety of domestic and international investors.

The company says it's very pleased with the support received from both existing and new debt investors including the strong interest from offshore.

Mizuho Securities Asia, National Australia Bank and Westpac Banking Corporation acted as Joint Lead Managers on the transaction.

Shares in Downer EDI (ASX:DOW)  are trading 0.13 per cent higher at $7.67.
