Bega Cheese
(ASX:BGA) has today announced Asset Manager, Perpetual
(ASX:PPT) has increased its stake in Bega (including shares held in nominee companies) to 10.9 per cent.
The dairy company's constitution provides that no person, together with his or her associates, can have a relevant interest in a number of Bega's shares greater than 15 per cent.
Bega says the shareholding limit will remain at 15 per cent until the August 16th 2021, at which time the limit will cease to apply.
Earlier this year Bega announced it would be closing its Coburg cheddar and mozzarella factory.
