Gold miner, Resolute Mining
(ASX:RSG) has provided a March quarter update with total quarterly gold production of over 98,100 ounces (oz) up by around 24,414 oz on the December 2018 quarter.
The company says it had an exceptional performance at its Syama site with production doubling to 84,552 ounces.
The key driver of the positive quarterly performance was the high grade and above budget recoveries achieved from Resolute’s new mine at Tabakoroni.
Resolute says it is on track for FY19 guidance of 300 000 ounces at A$1,280 per ounce.
Shares in Resolute Mining
(ASX:RSG) trading 5.58 per cent higher at $1.23.
