Australian lithium and tantalum producer, Pilbara Minerals
(ASX:PLS) says commercial production at the Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project will be effective from 1st April 2019.
This is following the sustained delivery of spodumene concentrate at Pilganoora over the December and March quarters of Financial Year 2019.
They have also commenced a partnering process to interconnect Stage 3 Pilgangoora offtake with future JV chemical conversion facilities.
At the same time, the Company is considering the sale of a minority interest of between 20 per cent to 49 per cent in the Pilgangoora Project.
Shares in Pilbara Minerals
(ASX:PLS) are trading 2.86 per cent higher at 72 cents.
