It's full steam ahead for Senex Energy
(ASX:SXY) as it has received Queensland Government environmental approval for development of Project Atlas.
The Project Atlas block was awarded to Senex energy by the Queensland Government to deliver gas to domestic customers within two years.
Managing Director and CEO Ian Davies said Senex was delighted to achieve this important milestone.
He says “The Queensland Government’s policy to introduce more natural gas into the domestic market is far sighted, innovative and beneficial for both Australian customers and producers."
Development drilling will start soon and commissioning of the gas facilities by the end of 2019.
