Ramsay Health Care
(ASX:RHC) has announced it has launched a €625 million renounceable rights issue.
The funds will be used to finance its purchase of Capio AB.
Ramsay Generale de Sante shareholders will be entitled to participate in the Rights Issue on a 1 Ramsay Generale New Share for every 2 ordinary shares held basis.
Ramsay made an €788 million offer for the healthcare services company last year which was accepted.
Capio has a solid portfolio in France and has been driving value-based healthcare and digitization.

(ASX:RHC) closed 0.14 per cent higher at $64.86 on Friday.
