A2 Milk appoints Chief Executive Greater China

The a2 Milk Company (ASX:A2M) has appointed Li Xiao to the position of Chief Executive Greater China, effective from 29 April 2019.

He joins the company with substantial experience building successful businesses in China across a diverse range of multinational companies including Mars, Nike, Burger King and more recently Wanda Group.

The company says it's delighted to have such an entrepreneurial and accomplished executive joining The a2 Milk Company team and that Li Xiao brings with him a deep and long track record of excellent business results.

The appointment comes on the back of the dairy company's bumper first half results, a2 Milk's net profit rose 55 per cent to $153 million and revenue jumped 41 per cent to $613 million.

Shares in the a2Milk Company (ASX:A2M) closed 0.53 per cent higher at $13.41 on Friday.
