Coca-Cola Amatil
(ASX:CCL) released a press release today saying despite media commentary and speculation, they are not pursuing a bid for Lion Drinks and Diary.
Lion Dairy and Drinks portfolio is currently owned by beverages company Kirin.
Kirin includes Dairy Farmers and Dare among its brands.
Coca-Cola Amatil;s statement to the ASX says that as stated in their full year results presentation in February 2019, the company is comfortable with, and remains focused on, its current outstanding portfolio of beverages.
Shares in Coca-Cola Amatil
(ASX:CCL) are trading 0.83 per cent higher to $8.50.
