NRW Holdings Limited
(ASX:NWH) has been awarded a $32 million road upgrade contract from Rio Tinto Limited
(ASX:RIO).
The contract falls within NRW’s five year framework agreement with the global miner.
Works will take place on the road between Western Australia’s Great Northern Highway and Rio’s West Angelas mine in the Pilbara region.
The project is expected to run for 29 weeks, commencing in January next year.
In addition, NRW has received award letters relating to $19 million worth of civil works from Xstrata Copper (LON:XTA) owned Ernest Henry Mining in Queensland.
