Beach Energy
(ASX:BPT) has appointed Matt Kay as a director and Managing Director effective from today.
He has been Chief Executive Officer of Beach Energy since May 2016.
Sally-Anne Layman has also been welcomed as an independent non-executive director.
Her career has spanned 25 years as a mining professional, corporate financier, advisor and company director, including 14 years at Macquarie Group where she was Joint Head of the Perth office for the Metals, Mining & Agriculture Division.
Chairman Glenn Davis says Beach has been seeking to increase gender diversity on the board over the past 18 months.
Shares in Beach Energy
(ASX:BPT) are trading 1.97 per cent lower at $1.99.
