Coca-Cola Amatil's profit slides 37.3%

Coca-Cola Amatil (ASX:CCL) today reported its full year results for 2018, statutory NPAT of $279.0 million, down 37.3 per cent on the prior corresponding period.

Underlying earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) from continuing operations is $634.5 million down 6.5 per cent from $678.3 million.

Weaker profits from Australian beverages and Indonesia and Papua New Guinea offset stronger earnings from New Zealand and Fiji and alcohol and coffee.

Final dividend per share is 26 cents 50 per cent franked.

Shares in Coca-Cola Amatil (ASX:CCL) are trading 1.73 per cent lower to $8.21.
