Sonic Healthcare
(ASX:SHL) has announced its half year results for financial year 2019 flagging growth in profit, revenue and earnings when compared with the same time last year.
Net profit rose 7 per cent to $223 million.
Revenue increased by 9 per cent to $2.9 billion.
Underlying earnings EBITDA growth increased 7 per cent to $485 million.
Earnings per share growth of 5 per cent to 51.9 cents
The company says it has performed well in the half-year, with US, Swiss and Australian laboratory operations achieving particularly strong earnings growth and US revenue growing by 8 per cent.
Sonic Healthcare has upgraded its full year earnings (underlying EBITDA) guidance range to 6-8 per cent from a previous range of 3 to 5 per cent.
