CIMIC’s CPB contractors wins $90m APLNG contract

CIMIC Group (ASX:CIM) company CPB contractors has been awarded a package of gas gathering and infrastructure contract worth around $90 million for Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG).

The contract will deliver more than 300 coal seam gas well over two years and consolidates CPB's position as a key delivery partner in the provision of gas infrastructure in Queensland.

CPB has delivered gas gathering infrastructure for more than 800 wells for the LNG company over the past five years.

CIMIC Group CEO, Michael Wright says CIMIC Group has a long track record in the delivery of essential infrastructure and services for community across Australia.

Shares in CIMIC Group (ASX:CIM) are trading 0.13 per cent higher to $47.86.
