oOh!media responds to ACCC over discount talks

Media company oOh!media (ASX:OML) released a statement yesterday regarding the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) looking to talk about discounts within their industry.

The media release was in response to media reports in relation to rebates in the Out Of Home advertising industry.

The ACCC is talking to outdoor advertising companies after some industry consolidation.

oOh!media bought outdoor advertising business Adshel last year.

The say their practice is to engage with regulators to assist with any questions regarding the industry and that they understand their legal obligations and respects the ACCC’s processes.

Shares in oOh!media (ASX:OML) closed 4.55 per cent lower to $3.57.
