Ausdrill secures $171 million mining services contract

Ausdrill (ASX:ASL) has won a number of mining services contracts in Western Australia worth $171 million.

The deal includes a three-year underground mining services contract from Regis Resources to Ausdrill subsidiary Barminco worth around $113 million.

Barminco will perform development and production work at Regis' Rosemount project, which is part of the Duketon operation.

Ausdrill Managing Director, Mark Norwell says the new projects demonstrate the diversity of the expanded Ausdrill group across different projects and resources .

Shares in Ausdrill (ASX:ASL) are trading 4.23 per cent higher a $1.35.
