Domino's Pizza Enterprises Limited (ASX:DMP) has achieved first quarter sales growth of 1.3 per cent and confirmed its full year net profit growth guidance of around 15 per cent.
CEO Don Meij attributed the growth to the organic opening of 18 new stores so far this financial year, 6 of them in Australia and New Zealand.
The pizza chain is aiming to open between 70 and 80 new stores over the current financial year.
Mr Meij says Domino’s is working on current and new product development and more technology initiatives to sustain momentum across the business.
This includes the launch of new products by February in Australia and New Zealand.
Domino’s Pizza posted a net profit of $27 million for the 2012 financial year.
