BT Investment boosts FY net profit

BT Investment Management Limited (ASX:BTT) has reported a 27 per cent jump in its full year net profit to $21.4 million.  

The fund manager in which Westpac Banking Corporation (ASX:WBC) is a major investor, generated a cash profit  of $41.5 million and attributes its recent acquisition of J O Hambro Capital Management to boosting its results.
 
CEO Emilio Gonzalez says J O Hambro has delivered positive net fund flows for the year totalling $1.1 billion.
 
A fully-franked final dividend of 7 cents per share has been declared.
