Monadelphous Group Limited
(ASX:MND) has secured a maintenance contract with oil and gas producer Woodside Energy valued at about $150 million.
The engineering and construction company will undertake work at the Karratha gas plant in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, scheduled to commence in January next year.
An initial term of three years, with the option of two one-year extensions has been agreed.
Monadelphous’ chief says the contract represents a significant milestone in its development within the rapidly growing LNG market.
Monadelphous Group generated a net profit of $137 million in the 2012 financial year.
