K & S Corporation Limited
(ASX:KSC) will expand its Western Australian operations with the acquisition of the business and assets of Bunbury based Collare transport group.
The transport logistics and supply chain group has attributed its fiscal 2012 earnings growth to the significant expansion of its Western Australian operations over the past three years.
The latest acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of this month, taking advantage of Collare’s existing customer and equipment base as well as $12 million in annual revenue.
K & S CEO Greg Stevenson says the acquisition offers improved earnings from a modest outlay, further demonstrating the company’s ability to identify quality, value adding assets.
K & S Corporation achieved a net profit of $16.4 million in the 2012 financial year.
