G8 Education Limited (ASX:GEM) has received a positive result in an appeals court in Singapore. Three separate parties filed against the childcare and education operator, relating to contractual disputes.

The Court of Appeal dismissed the application and found the plaintiffs were in breach of a business acquisition contract. G8 owns eight centres in Singapore has also franchised 63 centres in the city-state.
 
G8 announced it had inked a deal earlier this month to buy seven childcare and education centres in New South Wales for $9.2 million.
 
G8 generated a net profit of $6.8 million in the first half of the 2012 financial year.
