Channel Ten appoints ad man to senior role September 20, 2012 11:16 AM

Ten Network Holdings Limited (ASX:TEN) has appointed Russel Howcroft as Executive General Manager commencing in February next year.  

Mr Howcroft will be responsible for the channel’s operations across all capital cities. Mr Howcroft will join the company from global advertising agency Young & Rubicam Brands.

Channel Ten has recently seen a slump in its ratings and the resignation of its programming chief last month.

In the first half of the 2012 financial year Ten reported a net profit of $20 million.
