Company News

Seven Group Holdings Limited (ASX:SVW) boosted its underlying net profit by 38 per cent to $342 million largely aided by its earth-moving equipment sales operation WesTrac Australia.

Seven Group remains cautious regarding trading conditions in China and the outlook for media markets over the next six months is soft.

The group also advised it has appointed Ryan Stokes as Chief Operating Officer. Mr Stokes, the son of Kerry Stokes, was already a director on Seven Group's board.

His promotion follows his recent appointment to the board of Seven West Media Limited (ASX:SWM).

Seven Group declared a fully-franked final dividend of 20 cents per share.
