Elders to cut 75 Adelaide jobs

Elders Limited (ASX:ELD) says it will cut 75 jobs at its Adelaide head office before September 30. 
 
The Agribusiness which has divested its non-core businesses in recent years, says it needs to manage the corporate and network support functions in line with market conditions. 
 
Elders also announced that it will reduce the size of its board with two members already volunteering to retire.

The company recently sold a 10.1 per cent stake to Australian Agribusiness Ruralco Holdings Limited (ASX:RHL).
 
Elders generated a net profit of $41.9 million in the first half of its 2012 financial year.
