Hillgrove Resources MD resigns July 27, 2012 10:45 AM

Hillgrove Resources Limited (ASX:HGO) has announced Managing Director Drew Simonsen has resigned effective today.

The mining company’s chairman Dean Brown says Mr Simonsen has overseen the company through significant changes and the raising of debt and equity funding.

Hillgrove Resources’ company secretary and CFO Russell Middleton has been appointed as acting CEO while a selection process for the new CEO is being undertaken.

For the 2011 financial year Hillgrove Resources posted a net loss of $8.5 million.
