Regenerative medicine company, AVITA Medical
(ASX:AVH) has kicked off the US national market launch of its RECELL system for the treatment of acute thermal burns.
In advance of the national launch AVITA has been fulfilling orders in response to strong market demand.
The company says clinical evidence, years of successful patient outcomes and favorable economic results have created ideal market conditions for the RECELL system.
AVITA's commercial team is now in active discussions with nearly half the total number of burns centers in the US.
Shares in AVITA Medical
(ASX:AVH) trading 4.8 per cent higher at 9 cents.
