Fortescue Metals Group
(ASX:FMG) has chosen Perth-based mining contractor NRW
(ASX:NWH) as the preferred contractor to deliver the Stage 1 earthworks, roadworks and drainage Works of Fortescue’s Eliwana Rail Project.
The project value is around $57 million .
NRW will utilise its existing civil construction fleet for the project.
The eastern section of the Eliwana Railway Project development envelope is adjacent to Karijini National Park.
Shares in Fortescue Metals Group
(ASX:FMG) closed 0.24 per cent higher at $4.14 on Friday.
