Virgin Australia
(ASX:VAH) has announced changes to its board with the Hon Mark Vaile AO to step down as an Independent non-executive director from today.
Meantime, Air Chief Marshall Sir Angus Houston AK, AFC (Ret'd) will join the group's board as an independent non-executive director.
Sir Angus has served as Chief of the Australian Defence Force and Air Force and Chairman of Airservices Australia.
The company says Sir Angus' experience as one of Australia's most senior aviation and military leaders will further strengthen and diversify the board of the Virgin Australia Group.
