Crown Resorts Limited
(ASX:CWN) announced that the appointment of John Poynton as a director of Crown has become effective.
All regulatory approvals have been received.
His appointment was announced back in May 2018. He will replace James Packer who decided in March to take a break from all of his work commitments.
Mr Poynton will fill Mr Packer’s position as a non-executive director, nominated by family company Consolidated Press Holdings.
He has been working as a director of subsidiary Crown Perth.
He is also chairman of advisory firm Jindalee Partners, oil and gas explorer Strike Energy and cyber security firm SC8, and a member of the Future Fund.
Shares in Crown Resorts Limited
(ASX:CWN) closed 0.86 per cent lower to $11.60 yesterday.
