Woolies buys six more pubs

Woolworths Limited (ASX:WOW) has reportedly bought another six pubs for $125 million.

According to media reports the supermarket giant purchased the hotels from the Waugh family and the de Angelis group.

Woolies received the ACCC’s green light to purchase a portfolio of New South Wales pubs from the Laundy Hotel Group at the end of last month. 
 
In the first half of the 2012 financial year Woolworths reported a net profit $975 million.
