CGA Mining Limited (ASX:CGX, TSX:CGA) says it has achieved record monthly gold production in May. The gold miner produced just over 20,000 ounces of gold last month, beating its previous record of about 18,000 ounces achieved at the end of last year.
CGA, also listed in Toronto, says the production was on the back of processing a record amount of tonnes in May.
First gold at the company’s Masbate Gold Project in the Philippines was poured in mid 2009 and CGA is currently undertaking an aggressive exploration strategy.
In the first half of the 2012 financial year CGA reported a net loss of $8.9 million.
