Telstra to unveil online music service

Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX:TLS) will unveil its online music service MOG in the coming weeks.

The heat is on for the telco after a Stockholm- based rival launched its music streaming service Spotify yesterday which has gained commercial support from rival Virgin Mobile.

MOG is reportedly not partnering with any companies, relying on its own network and customers according to The Australian.

Telstra generated a net profit of $1.5 billion for the first half of its 2012 financial year.
