Chorus rolls out NZ rural broadband

Dual listed Chorus Limited (ASX:CNU) will spend about $742 million over two years to roll out its rural broadband network in New Zealand, according to its investor day presentation.

Chorus’ chief says it's on track to lay fibre past about 50,000 schools, homes and businesses by the end of July.

Chorus is tasked with building the majority of the New Zealand government's nationwide fibre network.
