Qantas Airways Limited (ASX:QAN) will restructure the airline business, announcing its domestic and international arms which are presently combined under the banner of ‘Qantas Airlines’, will be managed as two separate divisions.
Qantas says the changes which are effective next month, will enable it to focus on improving its international business and build on its strong domestic division.
Financial results will be reported separately and a re-structure in its executive team will also occur.
Qantas reported a net profit of $42 million in the first half of its 2012 financial year.
