Elders Limited
(ASX:ELD) has generated a net profit of $40.5 million for its first-half results ending March 31 this year.
The figure returns the company to profitability. The rise in earnings comes after the agribusiness was paid $34.4 million after it won its case against the Australian Taxation Office.
Elders managing director says, trading activities, particularly live export operations were the highlight, lifting their underlying margin generation by 15 per cent.
