Warehouse Q3 sales rise, to exit ASX

Warehouse Group Limited (ASX:WHS, NZE:WHS) has increased its third quarter sales by 3.3 per cent to $310 million and maintained its full-year profit guidance. 

CEO Mark Powell says all major merchandise departments other than apparel performed ahead of last year at both a sales and gross profit level.

Chairman Graham Evans says the company’s long term strategy is in early stages but showing encouraging progress.

Warehouse Group is New Zealand’s largest listed retailer and will exit its secondary ASX listing from July.

Warehouse Group reported an interim net profit of $41.9 million in the first half of it 2012 financial year.
