National Australia Bank Limited
(ASX:NAB) has reported a rise in its first-half cash profit but a fall in its net profit. The banks cash profit rose 4.8 per cent to a record $2.83 billion.
The NAB’s net profit dropped 15.5 per cent to $2.05 billion. NAB says the global outlook remains challenging and expects the multi-speed economy in Australia to continue.
The bank has declared an interim dividend of $0.90.
