Gloves and condom maker Ansell Limited (ASX:ANN) has completed the purchase of Trelleborg Group’s Protective Products business for about $30 million.
The Swedish based company is a manufacturer of protective clothing and Ansell’s chief says the business fits its specialty markets and is in line with Ansell’s strategy of expansion.
The acquisition is expected to be earnings accretive from the next financial year.
In the first half of the 2012 financial year, Ansell reported a net profit of $66.6 million
